After a fabulous lunch we went to enjoy some of the gorgeous Vancouver cherry blossoms near Coal Harbour.  Rowena and Terrence particularly enjoy this time of year with all the pink blossoms (who doesn’t? is there really any big pink-puffy-flower tree haters among us?  I can’t believe it - they’re awesome!)  We had a  lovely sunny day and an absolute blast hanging out together creating some fun images of these two.

After 12 years of photographing amazing couples, we just never get tired of these fun shoots with couples in love.  Thanks to Rowena and Terrence for choosing us to capture some of the special moments in their life - we can’t wait for your wedding at Vancouver’s Sutton Place later this summer.

(She was slow to regain her birth weight, so in an attempt to weigh her at home and check on her progress, we pulled out the kitchen scales and salad bowl! :-)

Being big fans of nice wines, they insisted on bringing in some of their favourite wine, Blue Mountain Pinot Blanc from the Okanagan, to share with their guests.

Speeches of true friendship and love were shared, plus a few embarrassing moments sprinkled in for good measure!

Guests enjoyed the summer evening by dancing outside on the beautiful stone patio beneath the stars!

And still looking glamorous Christine and Ryan drove back into Victoria, after the most perfect of days. Thanks Christine and Ryan for letting us be a part of your day, it truly was an honour.

Sharon’s shoes were awesome! These Jimmy Choo sparkly wedges had me giggling with excitement when I had my time to photograph them. They were just fun, fun fun!

Dan’s attire for the day had great attention to detail. A tailored suit, personalized cuff links and silk screened orange tie.

Dan and Sharon had a first look prior to the ceremony in a quiet location we found for them. It’s a nice option to have your first few moments together quietly so you can chat and it creates a pretty neat experience to add to your day. Plus, having had their portraits taken ahead of time also allowed Dan and Sharon to spend more time enjoying guests at the cocktail hour after their ceremony.

We headed to Yaletown for their wedding party and bride + groom portraits.

Aren’t they adorable!? So proud were these little girls to do their very important role.

The massive oak tree at Brock House is always a stunning backdrop for a wedding, but here in the Autumn it was truly magnificent!!!

The view from Jericho Beach at sunset is always a special treat and on their wedding day was no exception. We took a few moments for a romantic walk down the beach and enjoyed the golden light of the day for a mini photo session.

Great speeches were presented all throughout dinner, which set the tone for a super fun evening all around.

Nothing like dancing to a live band to get a party into full swing!

Here is a little sneak peak from Tiffany + Joel’s wedding at the Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver. They had an amazing, yet very wet rainy day, but that certainly didn’t dampen the mood, in fact I think it may have heightened it and made it more dramatic! Luckily, the rain tapered off into the afternoon, which allowed us to create some beautiful artful photographs of them before heading to their reception. Keep posted, more to come!

Well, it’s that time of year again and you know, we just love presenting at the Lovestuck Bridal Show every year. It’s always an opulent event and such a fun show for brides to attend, as there are always so many fabulous and helpful vendors to chat with and great ideas to pick up! New for this is that Justin was asked to present the Photography 101 workshop, so certainly do check it out! We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces, so do pop by our booth and say ‘Hi”!
