"With no previous experience in event planning, we didn't really know what to look for when it came to choosing "good photographers" for our big day. We had met with one other photography company prior to meeting with Hyperfocus, and even though we had no comparisons to make at that point, we knew the first one just didn't "feel" right. When we met with Steff and Justin, we still didn't know what we wanted, or what we didn't want, but I distinctly remember Gabi and I leaving the meeting, both totally in agreement; we wanted to have them photograph our wedding. I think the thing that made it feel so "right" compared to the last one, was their genuine passion for their art and for the people they work with. They were so helpful in answering our endless questions, and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was just how we wanted it.
Not only do our amazing photos speak for themselves in regards to choosing Steff and Justin, but our right decision was confirmed in the response we got from friends and family at the wedding. Everyone commented on how professional they were, and how they made them feel so comfortable. This, in hindsight, is a key component to a successful wedding photographer, because if Grandma and Grandpa from "home country" are shy and scared, that feeling will come across in all the photos.

"When we got engaged, it was a whirlwind of emotions. Feelings ranging from complete bliss to overwhelming anxiety began to brew within. We couldn’t be happier to begin this life together, but we knew the path of getting there would be costly and stressful. After confirming our venue, we knew we had to book our photographers immediately. We pooled our resources together and made several connections to some great photographers. Needless to say, the first time we met Steff and Justin for a consult, we knew immediately that they would be our photographers. Not only did their artistic work speak for itself, but their approachable personalities and constant smiles made us incredibly comfortable the first time we sat across from them. It didn’t take long before we left their office and easily agreed that they would be the ones to help capture every aspect of our day.
As the months begin to quickly pass and the wedding day begins to draw near, the image of our actual wedding day became clearer. What made this process unforgettable, rather than stressful, is the constant communication between Steff, Justin, and us. We quickly found that their professionalism, their flexibility, and creativity went beyond our expectations. It was simply amazing that we found photographers who willingly worked with us, rather than for us. confident, friendly and supportive. They listened to what we wanted, the
number of shots, the style and the general workings of the day. They made

You really listened to us and delivered what we wanted. We also liked
how when we didn't quite have the vocabulary to tell you what we wanted,
you were able to anticipate it. Many people commented to me on how low-key,
